Mike was unique and I braved speaking to him in the end and felt better for it. I miss him dreadfully. |

Mike, oh Mike. Radio remains very average without you. They've put Galloway in your night spot; this is a chap who promotes all things Muslim. Then there's Jon Gaunt. He sounds alright, but there's a limit to how long you can tolerate his squeaky voice. Mike Mendoza's still around, but he's become very watered down in his views all round. Actually he sounds bored with his own show. Then they got shot of James Whale on a pretext - about the only decent broadcaster that was left. No Grade 1 broadcasters left. |

Mike,
It's 18 months since your death and I still miss your radio shows. Not one newcomer has come even a fraction close to being as informative, entertaining and principled as you. TalkSport has declined to release any podcasts of you. |

Rest in peace Mike. Its now over fourty years since we worked together at the MG Car Factory at Abingdon (me in the material control office and you on works study)We were still in touch when you were at Radio Oxford and I enjoyed many hours of your programme on Talk Radio while I was on shift work since then. Nobody could replace you! |

Mike Dicken still missed very much by myself. He was everything a great broadcaster and journalist should be. No personal axe or hidden agendas of his own to grind. He just focussed on those issues that concerned the many different and ordinary people in the UK. The quality of Talksport Radio in the morning and weekend evenings has deteriorated so much since Mike's death, I now listen to other radio stations. |
